great song (which curiously has always made me think of hockey and the Toronto Maple Leafs)

i always loved A Farewell To Kings also - damn, another album i have to blow the dust off and give a listen to :)

Speaking of Hockey...

I wonder if you've ever heard the band "The Pursuit of Happiness"? They were produced by Todd Rundgren. Power Pop at its best. Canadian band, as was Rush.

They did a great song titled "Gretsky Rocks."

Their entire repertoire is filled with gems. They were both funny, and catchy.

Their lyrics, and quite a few may remember "I'm and Adult Now," are filled with anxiety, sexuality, and making fun of cliches.

They certainly fulfill my need for irreverence.
